Our cider is made from the same minimally sprayed, IPM fruit that we buy as fresh apples.
Must be refrigerated!
Our cider does not contain any preservatives, so it must be refrigerated. If you pick up on a warm day, consider bringing a cooler with ice or some other means to keep it cold.
Kept in the fridge, this cider will keep for a week or two. You can also freeze it (see tips below).
Best Uses
Hot cider, cold cider, spiced cider, smoothies, add it to apple butter…
Freezing Tip
Cider freezes well. Just remove about 2 cups of cider from the jug first to allow for expansion.

Our cider comes in a plastic jug.
About UV Treatment
UV treatment is a non-thermal process that meets FDA guidelines to obtain a 5- log reduction of pertinent pathogens. This is equivalent to 99.999% safe. The UV or Ultra Violet treatment has the cider pass by an ultraviolet light which kills harmful bacteria. This process is called non-thermal because it does not heat up the cider. It is FDA approved and an equally safe alternative to heat pasteurization.
