What is the White Stuff Around The Peach Pit?
We’ve seen it more during other years, so you may not have noticed any of this white stuff inside your peaches. Sometimes people freak out when they see it and think it’s mold. But it’s not. It’s not bacteria, and it’s not a fungus.
The white growth you occasionally see around the pit of your peaches is called Callus Tissue, and it’s a normal, natural, and healthy tissue that is okay to eat.
